Japanese Auctions and Ocean Freight Update

We would like to share some information about the current Japanese used car market and the Ocean freight with.
Japanese Auction- Covod-19 changed things around us. We saw 50%-100% plus increase on JDM vehicle prices. Also gaining their popularity, these 25 years or older JDM vehicle prices are driven quite higher due to their demands. 
While their prices are soaring, qualtities and qualities of these vehicles are decreasing.
We are trying to pick up low milage vehicles in the good shape in these days more than ever. 

Ocean Freight- The booking for shipping are better now. Waitng is about 2- 3weeks and get booked on a ship departing 1-3 weeks from the time of booking. Days on the water are 4.5-5 weeks. It takes 7-11 weeks total to get vehicles here once start processing. Ship's schedule changes happen time to time. The shipping rate are doubled fron pre Covid-19. 

Package Shipping - Seems almost doubled compares to pre Covid-19.

Looks like this is the new standard. We will do our best to keep the impact minimum for the "fun ride".
